Through an affiliated angel fund, Berlin Startup Academy is now investing two times 25.000 € in the best graduates of the Autumn 2016 program. The investment offer will be made at the end of the program, reflecting the progress made by the respective teams in the previous months.
Apart from that, Berlin Startup Academy is not a VC but aims at putting you in the best position possible to make a convincing pitch to investors. We do that by involving a broad range of (mainly early-stage) investors into the program who will work with you on making your pitch
- reasonable,
- profitable,
- doable and, above all,
- fundable.
Mentored by these VC representatives, you will be able to assess all funding options that might make sense for you – from “classic” angel investment, over crowdfunding and media-for-equity, to incubators and venture capital. Typically “German” options, such as public subsidies (EU, nationwide and local Förderprogramme) and High-Tech Gründerfonds are in the game, too.
BSA has you talking to them early in your company building, so you can start establishing that network of recommendations which 90% of venture investments are based upon. Here are some of the investors mentoring at Berlin Startup Academy.
